I met her almost exactly one month ago and she is one of the most beautiful souls I've ever encountered. Her music moves me so deeply, I am filled with simultaneous joy and sadness
but ultimately, a sense of peace and well being.
The world is such a strange place anymore; and DU has had its share of unrest, tragedy and loss. The recent passing of NNN0LHI comes to mind; as well as others we've loved and lost both personally, and here at DU.
I hope the music of Ellis brings some small comfort to each one of you. We may not always see eye to eye, but that doesn't change the love we share as a community of very similarly minded Democrats. We really are only here for such a short while...
Peace.

I saw Phranc sing live in the late 70's and early 80's in Salt Lake City. Thanks for the reminder.
