Peter King: 'I知 running for president'

By Julian Hattem - 09/08/13 10:35 AM ET

Rep. Peter King (R-N.Y.) is running for president.
In a radio interview this week, the Republican lawmaker told a New Hampshire station that he was in the state “because right now I’m running for president,” according to The New York Daily News.

The visit was King’s second of four trips to the traditional home of the nation’s first presidential primary.

The announcement makes King the first Republican to officially declare their intentions to run for president in 2016.

King has previously expressed an interest in running for president, though Democrats including House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi have had their doubts about his seriousness.

You may be thinking of Steve King, a Congressman from Iowa.

My personal guess is that the Bachmann mantle will be assumed by Ted "Carnival" Cruz, who is fully qualified for the position.

Let them run out all their crazies and line them up for inspection just like the last election. This is going to be fun to watch.

In fact, intelligence is looked on with high suspicion. The only half-way bright Republican is Jon Huntsman and teabaggers tore him to pieces in the 2012 primaries.

this was 2 or 3 months before the 2004 election and a drunk Peter King let
the cat out of the bag that the republicans manipulate the vote.

The more debates the better; it makes campaigning against them much easier because they threw the Eleventh Commandment under a bus long ago.
