Although I am usually able to respect the many differing opinions concerning PBO's decisions, witnessing Democrats tear him limb from limb (metaphorically) with nasty personal attacks is pretty disturbing.

best intentions. So who wouldn't want to play a relaxing game of golf to relieve some of the pressure such a decision causes?

in case it's needed to express my absolute dismay at this unseemly display of sang-froid.

I don't really give a shit if Bush Jr did it too. It was unseemly then and it's unseemly now. Disgusting that it should even have to be mentioned.

in the face of the decision that has to be made. Why post an old photo? Why attempt to imply a state of mind for the President that he may not be in. I used to play golf and have played when I was worried about events in my life, golf proved to be calming for me. Is it remotely possible to accept that the President played golf because he needed to calm his mind given the enormous decisions that he has to make?
