The wind has been strong enough in NM to blow a wheelie bin (mine) that was half full of heavy trash about 10 yards last night. We've also had power outages today because of it.

Usually when our weather gets wild, yours gets a lot wilder. Stay safe!

I live in North Georgia in an area that is known as tornado alley. Every time I hear the tornado sirens go off, I totally freak out because I have no where to run. I live in a mobile home and even the bathroom is not safe. But fortunately, there has not been a direct hit in my area, but there have been some close by.

not too far now and looking very ugly. I went up and let the young horses out, put the old ones in (I hate to do that but they would get pounded by big wind and hail), got the goats in and now I sit and try to focus on other things while it moves in.

I don't see any way we are not going to get a tornado warning unless it totally poos out. It is too big and too red with pink in the middle and it is actually growing. We are not even in a watch. The first storm of the year always undoes me. After that I am fine. I think it is beer time

Hang tight everyone, it is a big night out there in a lot of places.

of me. Maybe a touchdown but maybe not. None of it is confirmed but they are down there looking at damage. We are fine, hard hard rain. The hail missed us here , big winds. A few more bits to pass through but we are certainly not going to get anything to worry about now. The good part is that I fertilized the pastures yesterday. Perfect timing.

I must get my tornado pack ready, I had to run around and look for my boots etc. I guess we are early this year. Just wait, we will get a blizzard next week. Ahhhhhhhh Kansas.
