I'm waiting for the video shots of collateral killings from U.S. bombing; from our 'limited' wars

The question has never been whether we're sufficiently horrified by chemical attacks within Syria. The question is directly on the wisdom, effectiveness, and risks in lobbing missiles into Syria.

Much like in Iraq, many of the military and other targets in Syria being considered by the U.S. - facilities and armaments - are situated right next to residential and urban areas. Military and Pentagon officials have already acknowledged that there will be a substantial number of civilian casualties.

I don't expect CNN to show those with the same breathless concern as they have today of these videos of the victims chemical attacks. I don't expect that any more than we've seen the tens of thousands of innocent casualties of the Bush wars (continued into the Obama-era) splayed on our television screens to inflame or motivate us to action.

Take that in consideration when genuflecting before these propagandized presentations, feeling compelled by the selective images to 'do something'.

avoid going to help those who have been injured and dying from the air attacks so that they won't be attacked by drone double-taps.

Some think that drone double-taps are war crimes.

That doesn't seemed to have stopped them, however.

The M$M is meant to be a drug that keeps people docile, NOT disturbed and upset.

. . . they know the negative effect those images getting out is going to have on public support for their militarism.

Pakistan, Panama, etc., etc. Don't hold your breath bro - everyone else if evil but we kill for peace, freedom and democracy. And any whistle blower who shows us our own killing will be attacked and imprisoned. Remember we kill for Jebus.

With pictures of children blown to bits. Better to see them in sleep mode with no pesky blood getting in the way.
