If he can't get all 76 GA delegates, he really doesn't have any hope to stay relevant by delegate count. Of course, that doesn't stop Paul.

12. Quite the opposite. By continuing to drain some of the delegates he is making it increasingly

difficult for anyone to get the 51% necessary to get the delegates before the nomination.

His only chance is getting a deadlocked convention or alternatively to barter at the convention where he will get a better deal.

Since he doesn't want to serve in somebody else's administration he has nothing to gain by getting out early and the longer he is in the more books he will sell later.

I don't think that his billionaire would still be writing him $ 5 million dollar checks if there was any chance he would leave early.
