A photo of a Marine's homecoming in Hawaii quickly became one of the most iconic homecoming photos since the 1945 photo known as “The Kiss"—only this new image depicted Marine Sargent Brandon Morgan leaping into the arms and kissing his boyfriend Dalan Wells.

3. The bigotry and hatred will slowly dissipate but never disappear....

This was so heart-warming from the photograph to the interview. It reminds me somewhat of the picture taken in Times Square in New York upon V-E day. I'm not comparing the situations by any means but they are iconic in many ways.

The younger generation doesn't see what all the "gay" fuss is about. I believe that in 20-30 years the issue of gay marriage and equal rights will not really be a subject of discussion among the majority of Americans. It will be like the subject of inter-racial marriages today among some hateful Americans that long for those days of old.
