(34,451 posts)I thought about it, but realized I couldn't bring myself to vote for Santorum even as a tactical move. I would never forgive myself if he won the nomination and actually won the election. I know that seems far out, but I have absolutely no faith in the American people right now.
I also have selfish reasons for not voting today. I did that in 2000 in order to mess up W and vote for McCain and I ended up being hounded for months by the Kent County Republican Party--hit up for donations and sending me all sorts of crap. I kept telling them they were barking up the wrong tree, but they kept it up until I got nasty with them. I don't want to go through that again.
