I ventured into a conversation today and met creatures with the thinnest skin imaginable.

It was so thin that they appeared to be almost translucent. At first I was concerned that such beings cannot exist in the outside world for long and that this must be some enchanted realm: seldom seen by the outside world.

When their proclamations were not met with fawning approval and breathy echos of support they became angered.

I then realized that my encounter was not with enchanted beings but with malevolent creatures who do not tolerate the world of reason: the world from which I came.

I am glad to say that I survived to tell this tale, but please beware.

The OP was flamebait attacking anyone who would oppose entry into Syria without more proof and when several long time posters RESPECTFULLY disagreed half your group got their underwear in a knot and banned us.
