Protesters Raise Red-Dyed Hands As Kerry Testifies (VIDEO)
As Secretary of State John Kerry testified Wednesday before the House Foreign Affairs Committee on the resolution to authorize military action in Syria, members of the advocacy group Code Pink held up red-dyed hands in protest.
The screengrab above shows Code Pink co-founder Medea Benjamin behind Kerry's right shoulder.
Benjamin disrupted Kerry's testimony Tuesday before the Senate Foreign Affairs Committee, prompting him to reflect on his days as a Vietnam War protester.
It was Benjamin who memorably interrupted President Barack Obama's counterterrorism speech several times in May.
