http://www.c-span.org/Live-Video/C-SPAN/SoS Kerry just said there is a 100% probability Assad will use chemical weapons AGAIN if the US does not strike! 100% is a very high probabilty!

(35,568 posts)Normally I have a very strong stomach for wading through their bullshit but this is so obscene that I don't think even I can take it much longer. Lie after lie piled on steaming bullshit.
You made a better choice but some masochistic streak compels me to witness their complicity as long as I can.

(35,568 posts)I went to buy some pork loin and I'm going to spend the morning in the kitchen angrily making up a new pasta dish.
Chuck Hagel is droning on right now. I can't take it any longer either.
Kinzinger is droning on right now about the US being paralyzed into inaction and using a picture of Syrian kids to pretend he cares. Where are the pictures of the Iraqi, Afghan, Gazan, Yemini kids?
Emotional manipulation to enrich the profiteers again. Fuck them.
The hypocrisy is too painful.
OMG, he just brought up Saddam Hussein! Who do these people represent?

How can Kerry say the same shit a gazillion different ways is
torturous to listen to.
I spent part of the morning reading about what a bigger war
this could become if we attack Syria. As heinous as the CW
attack was it's potential to become much more involved
could bring about WWIII...imho.
The reaon I went looking is because I question the President
turning on a dime to bring in the Congress to his decision.
I am wondering if he hasn't been listening to what Russia,
Iran and Syria, in particular, have been threatening and he
needed more time to be ready in case it "implodes" as Kerry
referenced yesterday. The whole thing stinks.

(9,385 posts)(I think it was Grayson who asked that too, but not sure now.)
He said "no" and didn't elaborate. He obviously didn't want any focus on that question. I want to see more info about that point somewhere.
Along with no UN backing, this is the part that bothers me the most -- the Syrians themselves do not seem to be strongly wanting us to do this.
