The US has been flexing its military muscle nonstop since its inception, and the world is well aware of our tendency to rain fiery death down on anyone who does something we don't like. If our big stick actually worked as a deterrent why was there a gas attack at all? How is one more deadly intervention going to stop the next one. It's fucking ludicrous.

Fallujah will be a nightmare for decades to come and no one seems to give a damn that we did something more horrific, or at least to a greater number of people, than what has been done in Syria.
