You've had the weekend to digest the President's comments. How do you feel about Syria?

At the present time, I'm not committed to proceeding with a military response, but I'm not reflexively opposed.

"trust me" from the same people who lied to the public about the Iraq weapons and spying on the public is not evidence.

I see the warmongers have gone into the "say it enough times and the lie becomes the truth phase".

Fuck the warmongers.

He kills people almost weekly with drones.

Do you really thinks he gives a rat's behind if he launches more missiles into another Arab country? All he wants is a fig leaf to keep doing what he has been doing since day one of his presidency.

- just because it'll deliver yet another self-righteous US war.
Every one of those people have to quite literally forget previous self-righteous US wars.

I just think it's highly circumstantial and very weak.

Frankly, I wouldn't change my mind if it was definitive; we should not be intervening militarily in Syria, period.
