(46,179 posts)That's just what I'm thinking as I watch the last distance, swimming past the standing people.
It's an honest question, and I'm sure I'm not the only person who watched and wondered. I was thinking that if it were me, the first touch of my foot on sand would have been such a relief.
Do you need my "take away" from the event?
I'm thrilled to see human determination and perseverance in the person of a 64 yo woman on the front page of our collective human conscious today. I wish our media focused more on the positive, amazing things people accomplish.
It is actually physically easier to swim than walk it.
