If it turns out the administration got it wrong like we did with Iraq

where then will you direct your moral outrage? If Assad's reckless disregard for life is worthy of retribution, what does that mean for us if we kill in error or deceit? Balance the equation for me.

What would the avengers want to do about the US if we ended up killing on false pretenses? It's not a crazy notion without precedence.

and demanding that their shouting be taken as gospel. John Kerry said there were WMDs in Iraq and Saddam was a threat to our nation. He was wrong, but he was rewarded for that deadly lack of excellent judgment. Rewarded.

Lame duck Pres.
Unresponsive Congress.
Both of whom have chosen to ignore any citizen input except for when they are trying to get re-elected.

I AM might curious how both Cameron and Obama can stated so firmly they have enough evidence to justify attacking Syria when the inspectors have not yet returned FROM Syria, when the inspectors state it will take them more than a few days AFTER they return to present their findings.

Strike first, ignore facts later seems to be the new national motto.

There is no reason for an immediate knee-jerk response. If its determined that Assad's forces used the sarin, and a "punitive" strike is warranted and effective, then it will be so just as well in a few weeks as it is now. The only rationale for an immediate response is fear that emerging facts won't back up initial claims....in which case we have another Iraq War under false pretenses situation.

Unless you think Pres. Obama waited ~2 years to come up with some bull shit reason to send a limited number of missiles into Syria, your OP makes no sense.

Shrub was just waiting for an excuse to invade Iraq. Pres. Obama is not in that situation and I don't think he, or members of his administration, are being anything other than truthful.

...just like Bush's did. They aren't interested in finding out the truth, and making a thoughtful response. They merely want to cheer every decision dear leader makes, even if its dreadfully wrong.
