What does K&R mean

by posting in the thread, it kicks it up to the top of the lists sorted by last reply, and recommend sends it up the charts of the greatest page. Welcome to DU!

6. When you post a response, your post automatically "kicks up" the thread --

more responses makes it more visible.

The recommend button speaks for itself.

When people post K&R that means they want to kick the thread up (and are thereby doing so by posting) but don't really have anything to say about the topic.

The R doesn't have to go with the K, but usually does.
