Guy walks into Denny's announces he is new manager and cooks himself dinner...

except he isn't the new manager...

MADISON — A man who claimed to be the new manager of a Denny's restaurant in Madison is facing charges after cooking himself a cheeseburger and fries before police showed up.

Police said 52-year-old James Summers, wearing a tie and carrying a briefcase, claimed he was sent by Denny's corporate office Tuesday to be the new manager at the restaurant. When the current manager told Summers that he must have the wrong restaurant, Summers told her she apparently had not gotten the memo about the change in leadership.

Authorities said the manager called her supervisors while Summers helped himself to a meal. WISC-TV reported that police were summoned and took Summers into custody. Officers said they found a stun gun on his belt. Summers is charged with disorderly conduct, drug possession and possessing an electric weapon.

Guess its either a tool or a weapon, depending upon who uses it to torture people.

A Taser is a specialized electric stun weapon that sends an electrode flying through the air.

Most stun weapons don't work that way.

Of course, it's just a lame news article and we can't be sure of anything it says.

It's unfortunate that you are unable to discuss the topic without stooping to personal attack.

Never argue with someone who makes a distinction without a relevant difference. It is, I believe, an exercise in both futility and absurdity. Like arguing with a head of cheese (but we must of course realize that a head of cheese can be refrigerated...)

Had a customer a few months ago complain because I wouldn't let him use MY friggin' computer to change his artwork. I told him, after he started throwing a hissy fit, "You can't go to McDonald's and make your own lunch."

Apparently, he was confused and tried it at Denny's.
