Is the Yemeni whose kid was killed in an errant drone strike, who seeks retribution against the U.S. - is he a bad guy?
If harm came to your family in a similarly intentional but careless act, would you seek retribution?
Would you become a "bad guy"?

We can certainly argue about motives and whether some acts are justified. You'll not likely get any sympathy for ANYONE who seeks to do harm to the US from our president; no matter what the justification used. That shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone.

(84,711 posts)annoys the hell out of me every time I hear some Pundit, Security Analyst, PooBah for some RW or even Dem Group talk about "The Bad Guys or Bad Actors."
It's juvenile. Insulting to people's intelligence to have grown Men, Women, Politicians and the above mentioned Media, Security people talking down to us like they stepped out off some Western Movie made in the 40's and 50's.
Dumbing Down Discussion. Treating Citizens like children as they read them bogeyman tales designed to depersonalize any discussion about who the "Bad Guys...Bad Actors" might really be. And "why" we should accept that characterization without question.
