She is playing with fire by messing with Chris Brown. He just had an arrest warrant issued for him because he snatched a fan's iPhone when she took his picture. I don't think anger mnagement worked.
For those of you wonder who cares, consider this. Many young fans look up to both of them. The message they are getting is a very bad one. Brown may consider himself invincible now that he has received another Grammy and performed there.
Unfortunately, Brown has many enablers from his record company to some friends. Other friends of both are said to be scared to death of what may happen.
Does he deserve a second chance? I believe so. However, until he shows a much higher level of maturity and has had a lot of serious, long-term counseling, he needs to be out of the spotlight.
This may end up as another horribly sad, but not unexpected, headline.

(4,982 posts)She is not being very smart and neither is he. He requires YEARS of therapy to deal with this personality issues. Frankly, so does Rihanna.
The message is that "abuse is OK" and you just move on. It's NOT. And you DON'T. It destroys lives, if it doesn't end them. This is not good.

(14,804 posts)Even more surprised that Rihanna is still dealing with him.
I know "Brown" is a really common name, but is he related to Bobby Brown? Do you know?

(32,731 posts)But someone else might. At some point in her life, she came to believe that abuse was OK. Neither of them will change.

(26,142 posts)And that her extended family is also littered with abuse. I know some aunts and cousins urged/pressured her to get back with Brown after he almost killed her the last time.
Her behavior is that of a battered woman. She doesn't deserve anyone's scorn (not directed at you).

(17,111 posts)I just don't see them getting any. They are both extremely talented, and they won't listen to anybody but those who reinforce their bad habits. Those bad habits are scary as hell!

(95,337 posts)Normally I do not watch the Grammys but did so only to see what they would do for Whitney, who died only a few days beforehand.
I do believe in second chances, hell I've supported Michael Vick. But then again Vick has made it a point to visit schools to talk about how wrong Dog Fighting is (he visits schools in at risk areas since Dog Fighting is very prevalent in the city, which is how he first got involved).
I don't see Chris Brown doing anything to show he has changed his ways. And it's dangerous that the music industry still promotes this guy.

(4,524 posts)A therapist would be more likely to tell him that there's nothing wrong with him. Even some of the police would probably look the other way. That's why, even if he seriously wanted to straighten out, no one would dare criticize him or try to get him to do something he doesn't want to do. People that famous just have butt kissers telling them how perfect they are every day. If you think about it, it's kind of a miserable way to live.

(17,111 posts)using 'I won't beat you' as a pickup line. That is a very bad sign.
