I have yet to hear a pundit articulate why the Republican Party is against abortion and why Santorum

makes it well known he opposes abortion. It's very simple.

Opposing abortion allows them to champion a moral cause and gives their political movement a moral and empathetic element. The reason they need to have this is because their economic policies lack these traits.

The Virginia Legislature is passing anti-abortion laws. What else are they doing? They are making it more difficult for minorities to vote, flooding the streets with guns, and cutting education funding.

These measures lack morality so they champion the issue of abortion to make up for it.

It's the same thing with Rick Santorum. He doesn't care if sick children can afford the medications they need and polluted water and air doesn't seem to bother him. This lacks morality so he opposes abortion to create the illusion his political being is based in religious principals instead of money and greed.

I wish someone would call Rick Santorum a fraud because that is what he is.
