I can't get over that defiant hair. I bet I have terrorist hair.

Defiant Hair! On Michelle Duggar's Tips For All Subjugated Wives.

Did you know that women can have defiant hair* or obedient hair? Some types of hair just scream feminism and uprisings and rebellions against the godly husband's rule and must be avoided at all cost in Christian fundamentalist patriarchal marriages, such as the one the television stars Duggars have. They also have nineteen children and counting, as the program tells us.

Michelle Duggar has come out with a set of wifely tips for a happy marriage. http://blogs.babycenter.com/celebrities/02202012-michelle-duggars-take-on-marriage/ They are wonderful and equally applicable to living (for a short time) with a hungry tiger or as an indentured servant to a real narcissistic knuckle-head. You can find the original handout at the bottom of this post. http://www.patheos.com/blogs/faithgoespop/2012/02/michelle-duggars-tips-for-a-happy-marriage/

The tips are what one might expect. A wife will destroy her husband's manliness by breathing too loudly because Christian fundamentalist manliness is more fragile than an eggshell.

Maintaining that egg requires that the wife not work outside the home, that she accepts his leadership in all things, that she never argues back, that she never refuses his physical advances and that she doesn't have defiant hair.

I can't get over that defiant hair. I bet I have terrorist hair.

While I'm sure my ultra short hair-don't would fit the bill, does she restrict it to anything shorter than just below the shoulder? Straight hair that refuses to curl? Hair that's too blonde or red or dark brown? A fauxhawk or a full on Mohawk? Anything that's less mousey than she is?

Whatever it takes, I will adopt it as my own style, as an advertisement for "narcissistic knuckleheads" to keep well away from me since I would crush their fragile eggshell egos in a split second without putting forth any effort at all.

Solid and secure men, of course, would continue to be my friends. They're also Democrats who don't expect the women (or male partners) in their lives to be mindless unpaid servants to their massive egos.

Wild hair and all. She is just way too calm and soft-spoken. How the hell can you stay so calm when you have what amounts to a small village living in your home? I think Jim Bob has her drugged.
