Good Afternoon, does anyone know if they're working on an extension of the Federal Unemployment deadline on March 3rd? My husband is on Tier 2 that ends in May unless they extend it. Thanks.

included unemployment...... but be aware there is a new provision for the max amount of weeks some states unemployed will be to receive.

depending on the unemployment rate in each respective state. At least that's what I was told in Minnesota, where the rate is lower than the national unemployment rate, benefits run out sooner. Fortunately I found work before mine ran out.
Good luck to your husband. I feel your pain!

(3,033 posts)6. It does vary from state to state,
depending on the % of unemployed. I'm in Ohio, where it's around 8%. They can't start cutting people off at that rate.
Good luck to you too
