that he closes his show with a segment called "Let Me Finish", seeing as how that's not a courtesy he usually affords his guests.

to tie him to a chair and make him watch his own show for an entire day so he would have to listen to himself interrupting everyone.

Randi Rhodes did it, too.

If you want to spout your opinion, fine. Just don't invite guests or callers. If you want guests or callers, shaddup and let 'em talk.

you just record yourself for a whole day. I think you’re going to be surprised at some of your phrasing.

listening to his guest, knowing that the guest is getting to his interesting point that he set out to make, and instead of really hearing the guests point, i hear matthews cutting him off, even if that particular time he DOESN'T cut him off! Of course, most of the time he does cut him off , either way, very distracting and annoying.

Don't ask a guest questions and then interrupt them with your own version of what you think they should say. Or go off on a tangent. Or make a joke and then laugh at your own joke.

Totally unwatchable to me.

Is the patience his guests seem to have. I guess most have a certain amount of courtesy and manners and won't tell him to shut up. He is so rude and dismissive of his guests that it is hard to watch him. But the guests rarely push back and ask to be allowed to finish a thought, which is pretty remarkable given that I figure anyone who goes on that show has to know how he operates. Just once I wish someone would tell him to SHUT UP and listen. But apparently he does not know how to do that.
