It is the neo-cons and Israel's RW leaders who are pushing this tension with Iran

They all know it will force up gas prices.
The cynic in me says this has always been the plan.
Iran isn't attacking anyone - it is Iran that is under attack.

When you look at the leaders and spokespeople of leading anti-Iranian organizations and conferences, they're always heavy on the same former military brass who show up as Fox News pundits.

There's lots of money to be made in war -- and the current mutterings about actually cutting the military budget make hostilities with Iran look even sweeter.

that John "bomb-bomb-bomb-Iran" McCain isn't sitting in the Oval Office right now. We'd almost certainly have attacked Iran by now- or given Israel the "green light". The neocons can't do much being out of the WH. It would be nice if somebody told the neocon agitators, though, to sit down and STFU. Electing Barack Obama to a second term IMHO is imperative in order to avoid war with Iran IMHO.
