If it had to be a British white guy who could sing, wasn't Robert Plant available? Or Eric Clapton -- he could have doubled on guitar!



And when are we going to hear some REAL rock and roll in the White House -- something mosh pit-friendly? Neal Peart's drum set would probably take up too much room, but Motorhead might fit!

I used to play some blues on the keyboard. Songs like "Dying Pick Pocket Blues" and "Peetie Wheatstraw Stomp." At least until Wheatstraw's "High Sheriff from Hell" persona finally got to me, scared the devil out of me, and made me trade blues for gospel.

Speaking of gospel and Jagger, here's "This May Be My Last Time" by the Staple Singers.
