Can Weiner Bounce Back?

It seems that Weiner was stalked by a right wing hacker. This is another part of the story that corporate media seems to have developed selective amnesia about.

The Twitter user at the center of the Anthony Weiner penis picture Internet scandal is @patriotusa76, also known as Dan Wolfe, who happens to be the only man who caught the now-notorious tweet from the Congressman live. Wolfe then got the photo to Andrew Breitbart's conservative blog BigGovernment, who went wild with it. But questions soon came up about Wolfe's connection to the confusing case of the bulging dick pic because, in part, Wolfe tweeted weeks ago teasing a sex scandal for Anthony Weiner, who Wolfe seems to be obsessed with. But as the story grew, thanks in part to Weiner's own idiocy, the media attention got to be too much for Wolfe, who has some issues of his own and appears to have broken down. More on the source's crumbling inside Press Clips, our daily media column, plus a round-up of reactions on this morning's big New York Times news.

Bully Breitbart?: Back on May 11, Wolfe tweeted, "Rumor that top rightwing blog has sexscandal pics of high profile Dem congressman, NE region. @RepWeiner, Frank, or @cbrangel," which now looks pretty suspicious considering Weiner's been claiming he was hacked. That, added to the fact that Wolfe appears to be the only person who actually saw the Weiner tweet before it was deleted."

And for those trying to say Weiner wasn't "Breitbarted" -

"Andrew Breitbart Inexplicably Crashes Anthony Weiner Press Conference

Anthony Weiner was scheduled to hold a press conference at 4pm to address Weinergate. Well, four o'clock came around and Weiner didn't show up. But Andrew Breitbart, whose Big Government website first published the original Weinergate photo, did.

At around 4pm, Breitbart just waltzed right onto the stage — the one where Weiner is supposed to address the media at any minute about his ever-growing scandal — and rambled on for about 13 minutes about how the story is legit and defended himself and his reporters against allegations of a set up. "I mean, come on, it is news, my friends. It is news and I know of countless other news organizations that would put this out there." He also added: "I'm doing this to save his family." The assembled media seemed happy to talk to anyone about Weiner's dick and peppered Breitbart with questions."

Gee, it sure seems to me that Breitfbart had a parochial interest in Weiners weiner!

Someone please help me here. I have yet to get clear information on EXACTLY HOW WEINERS COMMUNICATIONS/PICS WERE OBTAINED, AND BY WHOM. It seems there is a lot that has been scrubbed, or Googlestacked making this information hard to find.

And before the Weiner haters start bashing, I want to state it is my personal opinion that Weiner was an idiot for engaging in such activity, considering the powerful enemies he was gunning for, i.e. Clarence Thomas. That doesn't make it out of the question he was being targeted by right wing operatives .

This is an article from Kos before Weiner admitted sending the pics. There were errors and assumptions, but the question of Dan Wolfe aka @Patriot76 seems to be forgotten.

A scary thought - with what we know now about the N.S.A.'s widespread spying, is this the first example of online info being used for the purpose of blackmailing our elected officials? If so, IT SURE AS HELL WAS EFFECTIVE.

"While looking at the current pool pf congressman and they deal with the current political atmosphere as of date, I couldn't help but to remember how Anthony Weiner was out there almost everyday fighting for what he believed. Doing so, I was reminded of an interview with the man who broke the story that ultimately led to Weiner's demise. That man, of course, was Andrew Breitbart.

I remember hearing that interview and feeling that something's not right about the story. It just doesn't add up - but it had nothing to do with whether Congressman was, indeed, guilty or innocent of the accusations.

That's a strange prompt to break a story but OK, let's go with it. So he holds out, then gets his reason (in his eyes) and breaks the story. In that same CNN interview, he makes efforts to disassociate himself from the source of the photo (the first photo clothed in underwear). CNN identified that source as Dan Wolfe.

At that point, Breitbart starts to mention that there were other women that Weiner may have been involved with and emphasizes how young those girls were. He claims that the girls were openly expressing their alleged "relationships" with the former Congressman. However, did he forget that early in the interview he was saying that he happened to come across the re-Tweet from a person that he hardly knows? Well, if that's how he got the image to break the story, then how did Breitbart so quickly get the information on the other girls that no one else at the time even knew about?

And then there was the now infamous alleged nude picture of Weiner's penis exposed. But no one is asking how that picture was obtained. On June 6, Business Insider reported that Breitbart claimed that another woman had "come forward".

There is a lot more to the Weiner saga than meets the eye. My first clue is the transparent smear campaign in the M$M. Perhaps because the office of Mayor of New York City is a road to bigger things? The plutocrats have long been doing their utmost to nip rising progressives in the bud.

I WOULD LOVE TO SEE THIS GUY AS NYC MAYOR!

THIS IS ONE REASON WHY -

Flamboyant speeches are entertaining; getting things done is more useful in terms of being Mayor.

Building photoing himself with his I-Phone?

I think his behavior goes beyond him being "Set Up." His PR Team might want to portray it that way...but, he went "TOO FAR."

Anthony Weiner should have figured that out himself, before he gave red meat to his enemies.
