The creepiest part is the glee with which Fox and Friends spews their balanced fare. Be afraid. Be very afraid. Each Rovian sculpted phrase is ripped off the word-of-the-day faked white papers popping out of Crossroads and broadcast with extra drooly zeal. While there are liberal talk shows and blogs aplenty, the conservative claim that the entire media has a bias favoring liberals is just another piece of misinformation from their exclusive line of facts.

(8,244 posts)They are libertarian capitalists or something like that. It's pretty horrible stuff, I'm not with them or whatever.
But there are some issues where I do agree with them and they do pretty good coverage. That includes civil liberties issues, police state, government mass surveillance, and the war on drugs.
They are completely wrong on most other issues, especially economic issues. But I doubt they belong in the 50 worst news sources list.
Everyone can judge for themselves

(25,592 posts)How many news sources are straight up or slanted to the Left? I bet the list is much, much shorter.
The fingers on one hand would probably suffice.

(5,364 posts)Makes the WSJ op-ed page look like Mother Jones, and that's the "reporting" ( non op-ed ) part. Fanatically anti-working class. Saw it for the first time a few years ago while visiting my very conservative father, who has become an absolute RW loon after Barack Obama got elected. All his RW friends read it too: They carry around the damned things everywhere they go.
