2. oh, please don't get me started on evangelical fathers. My father lives with my husband and I.

My husband and I have had some pretty big disagreements about some pretty big decisions this past year. My father of course is of the belief that it is the husband's job to make all the big decisions, so you can guess how it went when he chimed in. Usually he just saved his opinion for when he would have conversations alone with my husband, but one day he did express his concern to me, and that maybe he could help. I can't tell you the number of times I said no. I was furious on the inside, but simply told him that we were fine. I feel guilty sometimes because I don't like having feelings of resentment and anger toward my father, but it is hard to not feel that way knowing how he feels about women. I know he loves me. I am his daughter, but I also know he doesn't respect me and that hurts.
