I almost hate to type the word "Zimmerman" but did he have a job?

Somehow I seemed to have missed it if anyone ever mentioned what Zimmerman did for a living. I saw someplace that he was a wannabee cop, but that he couldn't make the grade. So just what did the fellow do to earn his keep? I just noticed when watching the taped replay of him murdering young Mr. Martin that the neighborhood looked pretty nice and it got me to wondering how he made rent if he couldn't even get a job on the police force. He didn't seem like a guy who was bristling with talent to me.

he shot and killed Trayvon Martin. Here's what I found on his employment, it's interesting it is from 'sources' who wished to remain anonymous:

"Two sources have confirmed to the Orlando Sentinel that Zimmerman is, or until recently was, an employee at the Maitland office of Digital Risk, LLC, a mortgage risk-management firm.

The sources — one is a former employee, the other currently works for the firm, which also has offices in Jacksonville, New York, Dallas and Denver — spoke to the Sentinel on condition of anonymity, because they are not authorized to speak to the media.

Information provided to the Sentinel by one source indicates that Zimmerman has not been to work since the shooting. His title was "forensic loan review analyst" — basically an underwriter."
