I don't give a damn about the optics or the politics, I give a damn about our party living up to our promise to women, young ladies and girls.
I cannot, in good conscious call myself a feminist and sit quietly while this perpetrator of sexual harassment still holds this office. We owe our community, our party so much more than this.

and a vicious man who holds up promotions unless the women in his department service him sexually.
It looks like Filner crossed that line some time ago. Yes, he needs to resign. No woman should ever have to feel frightened and ashamed just for going to work every day.
