He can't stay in. He's not going to get the financial support he needs to stay in. When will it finally dawn on him that he's toast? I'm betting on next Tuesday for no good reason.

(114,904 posts)It's hardly much of a leap to think that he's lost much of his current and prospective donor pool- both large and small.

(114,904 posts)I hate to break it to you, but chief among them is big money.

(7,596 posts)...then he'll lose in the primary and that will be the end of it. You'll still be rid of him without having to constantly hope he drops out for something that has nothing to do with his job.
cali
(114,904 posts)and he doesn't have a job.
oh, just read that there's more to come.

(7,596 posts)And, guess what? His sex life still has absolutely nothing to do with it. Nor did it have anything to do with his old job, which he never should have been forced to resign from in the first place.

(114,904 posts)his lack of impulse control does. And yes, from a feminist perspective, his sex life does as well.
This is a man who tweeted to his then "friend" that his wife's genitalia compared unfavorably to hers. Sorry, but any pig who doesn't have a shred of respect for his wife, isn't someone that I, as a feminist, would vote for.
He was NEVER really a progressive just a self-promoting piece of shit.
Fuck wieiner boy.

(7,596 posts)It has absolutely NOTHING to do with being a congressman or running a city. Unless they're a "Family Values" hypocrite, I don't think ANY politician or candidate should be forced to resign their job or drop out of an election over sex. This sort of bullshit has to stop.
Also, nice rant but it has nothing to do with my argument. Judging from the 10 billion threads you've created about him, I think I know how you feel about Weiner by now.

(216 posts)He will keep plugging away until the climax come November. Now we all realize that he's facing a stiff challenge but we all know he's up for it.

(894 posts)he'll endorse another candidate so that people don't automatically go over to Quinn b/c they have no idea others are in the race.
Even if he just says something to encourage people to make sure there is a runoff, that would be good enough.
But i don't think he would, i think he would slink home with his tail betwn his legs and think about no one but himself and his failed ambitions.
