So if we boycott Florida does that mean Florida is going to boycott it's electoral votes from us?

Can you really foresee a situation in which we as a left wing movement inflict economic pain on a swing state and then have it turn around and vote for our candidate in 2016?

I suppose possibly losing an election is the price we must pay to conduct economic warfare on 19 million people who had zero say in the way the verdict came down. I'm sure the 3 million black Floridians will be very grateful if you manage to harm their local economy.

Just like the stand your ground laws, apparently it only deserves a boycott if Florida does it.

If there is one idiocy that tops all the Democrats have done as a party it is supporting policies that disenfranchise a huge portion of their by far most loyal voting bloc.

I really find it difficult to believe the Democratic leadership does not understand what they are doing.

IT'S THE DEMOCRATS FAULT.

Move over "Why do you hate America?"
From now on it's "Why do you hate Florida?"

Oh, and if you are not falling for Rick Perry's PR-campaign and moving your business to Texas: "Why do you hate Texas?"

The first kind is more like a demonstration and seeks to achieve its goals through threat and publicity, rather than action.

The second kind is silent and seeks to achieve its goals through action and economic consequences.

I boycott Apple and Coca-Cola for moral reasons (exploiting workers; assassinating union-leaders), but that doesn't mean that I drum up a campaign to achieve maximum publicity for that cause.

it's a miracle they went for Obama.

Still the presidency is not everything. The state of Florida seems very red otherwise.

Murder is legal in Florida and other ALEC run states.

If my son gets murdered, I want the person responsible to go to jail.
Lose gun laws = more murders.

I do think celebrities had a lot to do with changing attitudes towards LGBT community & gay marriage.

botcott is about (imo) floridians elect pukes who then force these laws upon their people, employ prosecutors like corey, let white murders walk 35% over blacks in the same situation.
im sure the black community will apreciate the rest of the country turning a blind eye to a staute that declared open season on blacks

but Rick Scott is and unless he turns into a reasonable nice guy by next year, he's out of there. Florida isn't going to lose jobs - like it didn't after they stole the election in 2000. They took a hit after the oil spill but within two years tourism came back.

I chose not to visit Florida and those other states because if I get shot, or my kid gets shot - I want the guy responsible to
go to jail. That's not too much to ask is it?

But yeah a left wing movement to destroy Florida's economy is exactly what we need to turn it blue.

Why didn't I think of that, to win swing states and their legislatures all we need to do is declare ware on their economies. I'm glad I've finally seen the light

Go ahead and boycott.

I'm good with it. I have no stake in the game with two plutocracy enablers running.
