Some crooks are trying to steal some of it's assets.

Thousands of Detroiters are working to rebuild their city. Don't disrespect them.

2. I'm one of those working to rebuild the city so I don't think I'm disrespecting anyone.

I've been talking to several others who have been working to rebuild Detroit and many of us feel the same way. No matter what we do, the powers that be have decided to make an example of Detroit.

I'm mourning for a city I've loved my entire life, not disrespecting it or the thousands of others who love it.

There's a lot of money in and around Detroit. Unfortunately, some of the suburbs have found out how to use the city's resources and inherent benefits without paying for them. Businesses in the suburbs paying for cheap labor from the city while avoiding the taxes necessary to allow them to live is a major problem here.
