It's funny how some religious groups and organizations revolve around money and getting the parishioners to give up to them and all the while denouncing money as something evil.

The even more ridiculous part for me is that they will do it with a smile on their face and no one seems to notice

Every sperm is sacred. And there's a dear, sweet snowflake baby waiting for each one.

And humanity kills them in untold numbers every day.

Please get on this issue right away. Every moment you hesitate billions of potential human beings are lost and will never have the opportunity to know Jesus. How can you sleep at night?

Births! Births! We need more births! There's an empty spot just over to my left where we could fit another in.

Some "beliefs" are more likely to be true than other "beliefs" based on observation and evidence. Some people absolutely refuse to consider evidence and logic in relationship to their beliefs and other people do. If you don't want to call it hypocrisy, then call it fallacy.

The scientific method depends on evidence. Religion depends on believing something where there is an absence of evidence - faith.

Pat Depends(no pun intended) on modern science, but has faith only in those things that spell more money for Pat. I have never had a mega-speck of faith in the likes of preacher Pat. If he's what "Heaven" is all about, I'd just as soon stay home.

"Send Me, Get Me, Bring me, Gimme. Don't worry about your twisted sisters, missing husbands, broken autos, past due creditors and repo warriors. Me and Gawd needs your paycheck more than anybody in the universe! So don't you EVER, dare to shortchange we two universal pilgrims, lest you tumble straight to Hell, without so much a hand basket or a medium slurpee. There might come a day when the devil tells you to spend your dough on the real things, but I'm telling you today brothers, write me a check Right now and don't give old Beelzebub time to tempt your hearts, deer friends.

And for another $25,000, while you got your checkbook and quill out, I'll send you two half carrot gem stones from The Dark Continent, where BTW, my missionaries and friends are hard at work in the BIG hole 24/7. These great quality GEM STONES, set in these 14 carrot GOLD praying hands and my two latest books, 'How to be a Fundgelic Ho For Me' and 'Why I could sure use some more bags of your dollars'."

"The Say Amen Somebody ministries, welcomes all your contributions, ASAP!"

All merchandise packaged in a plain brown wrapper with the Ten Commandments embossed on the back free of charge.

The piece on fundegelical hypocrisy would work better if the "Christians" part were likewise clarified with something like "fundegelical".
