I think the GOP plan to take the Senate in 2014 is to run a woman candidate

for the 1/3 open seats.

Liz Cheney is the start, Sam Nunn's daughter may be the next to announce. Only 31/32 announcements left, the pr opportunity will reach new heights.

The media will have endless outfit sessions, hairstyle debates, but not one mention of their right wing agenda.

of people. I've come to the conclusion that Democrats need to start up with their own soundbites, think tanks, etc., and fight fire with fire, even tho it's probably too late.

The Right side, not nearly so much. The Right keeps making up their own reality, truth and facts. And their sheeple keep buying it, no matter how outrageous it sounds, or is.

That is what us Left of Center people are having to put up with. And then there are the 3rd Way, DLC, DINO's and other wayward, self-proclaimed Democrats employing the conservative's non-reality to the detriment of us all.

building a soundbite infrastructure of their own. The result, over the last 40 years, has been that crazy nonsense is winning. Dems truly thought (and still think) that rationality and reason and education will overcome crazymaking. It won't and it hasn't, especially when the Pubs also attacked the foundations of rationality/reason/education, namely the public schools and universities.

The actions of the Governor and Legislature will cause people in urban areas to be less drawn to her message.

Georgia at this point in time. All conservative democrats there became republicans long ago, now their numbers are declining.

This public filibuster at the hearings in the TX legislature is a sign of this - I hope it's a sign of things to come.

often put republican women legislators in the lead role of pushing anti-woman legislation. So women in those states are less likely to be fooled by a women being run by republicans, they are more likely to look at her record.

It's possible to see a real gender gap in several of the red states.

She has to beat an (R) in the primary to run in the general.

I think Cheney is planning on HRC winning in 2016 and then she wants to run against her in 2020.

training and moving forward young female candidates. The democratic party did a good job finding some good young female candidates in 2012, it must continue. Hillary Clinton or an Elizabeth Warren heading the democratic ticket in 2014 would give a huge boost of getting more young females involved in politics.
