Samuel Warde reported this on June 18, but it hasn't been posted on DU yet. Here it is:
This time, the bailing company is SodaStream. SodaStream has been disregarding the boycotters for months, sending ambiguous replies to concerned consumers who have been reaching out to the company via messages, tweets, facebook-posts, phone calls and faxes. The mammoth soda maker finally buckled and the public couldnt be more pleased.
Its amazing that SodaStream even started sponsoring Rush this year, knowing the publics outrage. One has to wonder if they did it as a publicity stunt. Sadly for them, the public remembers. Limbaugh personally endorsed the company during his broadcasts. So its hard to thank or give any credit to SodaStream, at this point. The credit belongs to the boycott groups who will be watching to see if SodaStream will keep their word. Radio stations across the country are being monitored daily as many companies like Angies List, Quicken Loans and ProFlowers, have gone back and forth in their support of Limbaughs show.
Daily Kos has more details.

(25,251 posts)I don't think Rush helped the Repug Party in the 2012 Presidential Election. I'm thinking that they felt that Rush somehow contributed to their loss.
So my theory is that the Repug Party is calling in some of their corporate markers and - slowly but surely - methodically - they are trying to minimize Rush's voice for the upcoming 2014 midterms - and by 2016 - Rush will be castrated from being the so-called voice of the Repug Party.
I've been noticing both here on DU and on the cable news shows that Rush's name and his antics are turning up less and less. He is not getting the attention that he's enjoyed in the past.
Now if Rush begins to realize this - look for him to do something really outlandish - to gain notoriety once again. But this time it will be to somehow get back or embarrass the Repug Party.
Just a theory........

I remember calling my local GM dealer when GM was advertising on Rush and he was doing the Barack the Magic Negro song, they blew me off but they definitely didn't like the negative attention.

(32,723 posts)Rush gives a three hour time slot away for NOTHING and station managers snapped it up and then Rush tells Corporate America the reason his show spread so far and wide is because the public loved him.
Those idiots in the boardrooms signed up honestly believing he was no different than "Oprah".

(59,503 posts)SodaStreams main production site is in the illegal West Bank settlement (Maaleh Adumim) and industrial zone of Mishor Edomin. Companies that produce in the settlements enjoy several structural advantages, such as tax incentives, lax enforcement of regulations, as well as additional governmental support. Despite SodaStreams location in the West Bank, goods produced here do not serve the local population; instead, 65% of goods are shipped elsewhere and taxes and profits go to support the Israeli economy---not Palestinians. The settlement of Maaleh Adumin itself is strengthened by the factorys taxes, which go towards activities like road construction and municipal employee salaries. Additionally, this settlement is strategically positioned to disconnect the southern West Bank from central and northern areas to prevent Palestinian movement and development (see map below).
Palestinians who work in the settlements often face exploitative labor conditions, and because they are treated as occupied subjects rather than citizens, depend on their employers for work permits. These permits can be denied for security reasons after any kind of labor disagreement with an employer; therefore, Palestinian workers are unable to demand their legal labor rights without risking current and future sources of employment. SodaStream factory workers suffer from harsh working conditions including pay well below the minimum wage despite their entitlement under Israeli law to the same rights as Israeli workers.
