Can someone please explain Ann Coulter's latest comment?

She apparently said yesterday that:

"Perhaps, someday, blacks will win the right to be treated like volitional human beings. But not yet."

I simply don't understand what she is saying. I'd like to consider myself relatively intelligent, with a decent vocabulary. I understand the meaning of all the individual words used. I just don't understand the meaning of the comment? Can someone please explain it to me?

she is trying in her usual asshat fashion to claim that white liberals (and subservient blacks doing white liberals bidding) are using laws (such as affirmative action etc) to keep blacks from rising and falling on their own merits. Sort of a high falutin way of making the same point that crazy Ted Nugent made recently.

I think she's saying that Trayvon Martin is responsible for his own actions and deserved to be killed. And that the not guilty verdict has nothing to do with racial bias.

It might even be a statement that there is no racial bias at all and black people are disproportionately poor and incarcerated by their own actions.

It's definitely along these lines.

My guess was very close to your second guess, but then I couldn't figure out why she said "win the right..."

I understand that she is hateful and makes a living being inflammatory and involving herself in contrived controversies....That being said, I also think the statement literally does not make sense. I just wanted to see if I was simply confused or having a brain fart. The more people that take a guess at her literal meaning, I personally felt like it would be helpful.
