OK, so I was just waiting at the bus stop and . . .

Heard hammering. I looked over to my left, and there was a truck from a roofing company parked in the driveway of the fairly large house. Guys doing roof construction on a day like this -- 87° and muggy. In other words, they might as well be working in a sauna. Yikes!

And it's a job.

When I was on summer break from university I worked on a loading dock from 5 am to 5 pm. The temperature used to get as high as 105. When I got off I'd by two large cartons of orange juice and finish them both within a minute or so. You get used to the heat.

Salt tablets and plenty of drinking water are essential for anyone working outside in 3H weather.
