10:52 PM PDT 7/17/2013
by Kimberly Nordyke

Glenn Greenwald, the investigative reporter who broke the story on NSA leaker Edward Snowden and the U.S. government's secret surveillance programs, has inked a deal to write a book on the subject.

Sara Bershtel, publisher of Metropolitan Books, an imprint of Henry Holt, made the announcement late Wednesday that the as-yet-untitled book will be published in March.

According to the publisher, it will "contain new revelations exposing the extraordinary cooperation of private industry and the far-reaching consequences of the government’s program, both domestically and abroad" ...

Oh yeah, I forgot. You have to pretend the book will be an auto-biography, in order to trash Greenwald and ignore the NSA spying programs again.

In fact, you chose to ignore the link the OP gave us, which said what the book will be about: "According to the publisher, it will "contain new revelations exposing the extraordinary cooperation of private industry and the far-reaching consequences of the government’s program, both domestically and abroad"

Greenwald Derangement Syndrome it is.

The model Assange has pioneered with Manning seems to be catching on, as Greenwald adopts it while Snowden twists in the wind

Are you saying that if glenn greenwald isn't given a book deal Snowden can either face a "short sentence" or walk free?

Isn't it good to present all the sides? Why did you say it as a fact that the Washinton Post was approached first? http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/06/10/edward-snowden-glenn-greenwald_n_3416978.html
