An open letter to Ted Nugent
yes I know you read this board.
So you say Travon Martin was a "dope smoking racist gangsta wannabe". Really? You knew him personally, and knew enough about him to make such a statement? A statement that flies in the face of the viewpoints of those who knew him best, and had nothing but good things to say about the young man? Really Ted? You honestly think you are qualified to make such a statement?
If so, then I have a proposal for you. Head down to Florida and knock on the door of Tracy Martin, Travon's father. Inform him that you think his son was a "dope smoking racist gangsta wannabe". Go ahead. I dare you. I mean it shouldn't be a problem for you right? You believe in what you say, right? You have the courage of your convictions, and would be just as comfortable saying it to Tracy Martin's face as you would saying it to your usual neanderthal target audience wouldn't you?
Of course we both know you won't accept this challange. Why? Simple. You are a true coward. You lob incendiary statements like these from the comfort of your own little inner circle and don't care about the ramifications because you view them as benign. But they are not benign to Travon Martin's family. Which is why I propose you say them to Travon's father face to face rather than cowardly lobbing them from afar.
So give it a shot Ted. Meet up face to face and spew your rhetoric. That is if you're not a true coward.
My guess is you'll have reason to shit your pants other than to avoid military service.
