Senatobia, MS) A jogger says three men attacked him in retaliation for the verdict in the George Zimmerman trial.

The attack happened on Highway 51 in Senatobia, Miss., Sunday night.

The victim, who did not want to be identified, told News Channel 3 and investigators the men drove up to him and asked him to get into their car, implying they had a gun

The man says the men drove him miles away in silence before pulling him from their car and attacking him, saying, “I’m fixin to be your a** for Trayvon.”

... it could be true or it could be made up.

Don't forget about that girl a few years ago that said she was attacked and had that 'backwards B' cut on her face - then it turned out that 'she' had done it.

Before Katrina, my family and I drove up from the coast and stayed with relatives there until about a week after the storm hit. It seemed like a nice little town, but I don't really know anything about race relations there. I didn't notice anything unusual in that regard. If this did indeed happen the way this man claims, I don't think it's indicative of any kind of group planning or anything like that. It was probably just a couple of guys who got pissed off and decided to go scare a white guy. If they had been making a serious statement, the man would have been hurt a lot worse than he was.
