Westboro Baptist Church Vows To Picket Cory Monteith’s Funeral

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — The controversial Westboro Baptist Church is vowing to picket the impending funeral of ‘Glee’ star Cory Monteith.

Monteith, 31, was found dead in a Vancouver hotel room on Saturday. A cause of death has yet to be determined, although authorities say foul play is not suspected.

While he had a series of guest roles, Monteith shot to stardom with his role as Finn Hudson, a football player-turned-chorus singer on the hit FOX show.

The Kansas-based church, which is vehemently opposed to same-sex relationships and has even been known to picket soldiers’ funerals, took to Twitter to blast out a series of hateful messages at the cast of ‘Glee’.

They have no right to violate Canada's sovereignty, or to cause international incidents.

On the other hand, this trend suggests definite possibilities. Could they be persuaded to picket a funeral in North Korea?

and lay flowers on their eventual graves.

So that their souls can look down and see how respect for the dead is properly done.
