So they've told us what is wrong with our America...
Everyday, do you hear it?
We're too fat
We drink and smoke
We have lousy families or no families or we divorce too much
Or we don't get married at all and that's bad too
We pardon gays for being who they are and wanting to raise children
Who
Want too much, like food and an education
We take too many pills, not enough pills, or somebody else's pills cuz' we don't have health insurance..
We work too much, too little, but ALWAYS we want to much in pay.
We don't go to church, we pray for the wrong things, we need God in our schools, in the stores, up our asses.
BUT never, never, never, are we told we killed the black boy who bought a bag of skittles. Guess they'll get to it. Somehow, someway, they'll make us responsible. If we would just pay for more justice, they'll say.
This is a message that intends to tell you to dump the media. Dump the commercials. Dump the ads. Dump it all and start thinking about what it means to live in a society that includes reality, Not excludes reality.
