Dark Days Ahead

No point going on about the trial at this point. I don't agree but doesn't matter at this point. What does matter is that the finer points of why the jury ruled the way they did (Zimmerman was NOT found innocent, only reasonable doubt as to the motives) will be L O S T on the butt-scratching teabagger who will see this as giving them free reign to kill at will.
I fear for those in the South, of any color, as your every encounter will make you doubt yourself. People will be fearful to confront anyone for fear that that person can just pull a gun and shot them and claim self defense. No, its not legal or the same thing but try explaining that to the average teabagging idiot that has less understanding of the Constitution and the law than the average 3rd grader.
The Zimmerman verdict, if you agree or disagree, has more far-reaching impact that this one young man and his family. It is a dark new age for us all.

I'm not a lawyer so work with me here please.

I always thought the verdicts were either guilty meaning yes he did it or not guilty meaning no he didn't do it.

Is there an additional verdict of innocent?

Whats the difference between not guilty and innocent?

That according to the jury, the prosecution failed to prove its case beyond a reasonable doubt.

atrocious miscarriages of justice like this. He got away with murder and way too many people are OK with that.

Not guilty is not guilty, period. It's theoretically possible for the feds to bring some kind of civil charge in a federal court, but since that murdering POS was not a cop or other governmental official, that is a very long stretch. Add President Obama and his penchant for worshiping power over people and AG Holder, the parasite's best friend, and the odds drop to nil in practical terms

This is proof that we have entered an era of right wing murder-lust extremism that finally signals the need for a new American civil war to rid us of the toxic teabagger political and humanitarian dystopia that will destroy what is left of American liberties and ideals.
The teabagging of America will end up dividing families and friends as American patriots fight right wing anti-American extremists. The murder of Trayvon may be remembered as the breaking point in America's political fight for it's life. Teabaggers will murder more children as they continue their war against American liberties and civil rights. Rank and file teabaggers will suffer the loss of family love and charity because of thier hate-fueled ideology and bigoted indifference to the murder of children in the name of fox "news". Our family has already made the difficult decision to exclude teabagger relatives from our lives- something that all American patriots ought to do- to keep them from hurting us and others.
Why do teabaggers hate America so much?

I don't want this to be a call to violence. It should be call to civil action. Be an active citizen. Vote. Have your say in not only your city council meeting but in your state senator's townhall meeting. Through the power of the vote and our relentless voice we should take back our country from the edge of the abyss.
