HLN stated that not only was the not guilty verdict read, but Trayvon was also convicted of aggravated assault due to Zimmerman proving his "self defense" case.
Is this true? If so, this is seriously fucked up..

And not guilty does NOT mean innocent.

(951 posts)The jury was asked whether Zimmerman had a reasonable fear of death or serious injury when he shot Martin. Considering Zimmerman's behavior towards Martin before the shooting, it's possible that had Martin walked away from this, he could have claimed self-defense as a justification for any assault/battery charges.
