So if Trayvon lived, he would have more than likely be heading to jail tonight

HLN stated that not only was the not guilty verdict read, but Trayvon was also convicted of aggravated assault due to Zimmerman proving his "self defense" case.

Is this true? If so, this is seriously fucked up..

Those idiots, like most of the channels covering this case, are clueless. The major news channels have descended into tabloid territory during this trial.

"viciously attacked" his poor traumatized brother, the one who stalked martin on his way home from the store, called him a "f*****g c**n" while on the phone with the police dispatcher, and rather than obey the dispatcher continued to stalk the kid, and then shot him.

... the jury could not find enough evidence to find the Defendant guilty of the charges.

And not guilty does NOT mean innocent.

The jury was asked whether Zimmerman had a reasonable fear of death or serious injury when he shot Martin. Considering Zimmerman's behavior towards Martin before the shooting, it's possible that had Martin walked away from this, he could have claimed self-defense as a justification for any assault/battery charges.
