Exactly one hour after his client was acquitted of second degree murder and manslaughter, George Zimmerman’s attorney Mark O’Mara spoke to reporters, one whom asked if he thought this trial would have gone any differently if Zimmerman had been black.

“Things would have been different for George Zimmerman if he was black for this reason: he would never have been charged with a crime,” O’Mara said.

the pettiness of their response to the verdict reveals the ugliness of their souls. How easy it would've been to be gracious to the parents of a dead boy by not gloating and taking shots at the family's attorney. But no, both O'mara and West could not resist being foul and vindictive in their victory. Nasty is as nasty does, and the contrast between them and the Martin family and legal team is shocking. Wait he was charged two days after the killing and convicted of manslaughter. Everyone agrees that James made the first physical move towards Dooley (grabbing him by the neck and forcing him down). Even George's best story (that Martin attacked him first) becomes a parallel to the James case. Also contrast a 17 year old boy vs. a 41 year old man and a fit 27 year old man vs. a 60+ year old man.
