How about we fight for a new law to protect people minding their own business
who are followed and end up dead when they fight back? The current laws are too narrow right now as this case has clearly demonstrated. Maybe if anything positive can come out of this it would be DU coming together to change the laws to protect people like Trayvon. The right wing does this all the time with things like the Stand Your Ground law. We need to fight back and protect people and not let Trayvon die in vane.
I would prefer responses that are action related. Any lawyers or judges here would be awesome to hear from on getting this going.
