would someone be justified in shooting him within the first few moments of a fight that he started because they simply feel they need to be quicker than him?
Please note that I am not encouraging anything to happen to him, I just think it opens up an interesting question. If someone is a well known killer in fights wouldn't you feel you need to shot ASAP? I sure as hell would! That fucker is scary!

I have a question, if Martin saw the gun before Zimmerman drew it, and so knew he couldn't...

run away without fear of being shot, would he have been justified in "beating down" Zimmerman until he was dead, or could take his gun away from him?

And whether or not Trayvon threw the first punch (I don't believe he did). It was Trayvon who was standing his ground.

(13,409 posts)6. And now every asshole in Florida knows he can start a fight with anyone he wants
and then when he starts getting his ass beat, can murder with abandon. So long as the victim has an appropriately dark skin tone, anyway.

And Florida does seem to do its damnedest to defend and protect murderous psychopaths. I can see a mutually assured destruction scenario playing out in Florida. Idiots and assholes shooting each other left and right.
