I did watch and read a lot of the evidence in the trial. I work in the legal field, so I find all this interesting.

This jury was 3-3. Based on the jury comments, it appears that one of the "LEAVE IT" votes didn't understand the picture because the alerter didn't provide any explanation at all. And based on the comments of another "LEAVE IT" vote, it sounds as if the juror got confused and thought they were voting on the OP.

In other words, if the alerter had provided an explanation, and if the apparently confused juror had been more careful, this could have been a 5-1 hide.

I can't force people to not make mistakes. But maybe this will teach people to be a little more careful in the future.
