I also think this is a case of jury nullification. These jurors all of whom are female, 5 white and 1 Hispanic had the shit scared out of them by the defense who basically demonized Trayvon Martin. The victim was put on trial here and the jury was so scared of a black 17 year kid that they acquitted Zimmerman. The defense and the Zimmerman family are talking out both sides of their mouths by saying that they are sorry that Trayvon is dead and then in the same breath saying that Trayvon was a criminal who beat up George, was growing pot and it was self defense. This jury was never going to convict Zimmerman on any charge because they put themselves in Zimmerman's shoes and saw themselves getting beaten and they felt a duty to make this world safe from 17 year old black kids.
